Since 2010, Quanray chips QSTAR-35 (2Kbits) and QSTAR-2A (64Kbits) have been continuously used in aviation parts management of aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus. Quanray Electronics was the only domestic chip supplier that could meet THE ATA Spec 2000 CH-9.5 specification and provide chip products for Boeing and Airbus. In the past ten years, Quanray Electronics has been continuously developing and iterating chips suitable for aviation parts management, which have been updated to QSTAR-56 (2Kbits) and QSTAR-5A (64Kbits) chips. Through years of cooperation, Quanray Electronics has established strategic partnerships with major RFID tag suppliers from Boeing and Airbus to provide them with a series of standardized and customized technical services.

Flight attendants sort traditional airline parts. Before using RFID to manage life jackets, flight attendants need to check them one by one for at least 6.5 hours and ensure that all life jackets are ready under the seats. Long-term bowing and bending actions of flight attendants are easy to cause occupational disease hazards to health. A high-reliability RFID tag is attached to each life jacket, enabling flight attendants to determine the status of all life jackets in only 8 minutes. Besides, the label can effectively monitor the life of the life jacket, significantly improving the life jacket in the life cycle to maximize rational use.

After using RFID technology to manage life jackets, Airbus and Boeing's intelligent management effect promotes the use of RFID tags in more aviation parts management, such as oxygen cylinders, oxygen generators, fire hydrants, seats and even some sophisticated equipment that need maintenance. Their advantages become more prominent. In 2012, Quanray Electronics participated in the Airbus supply chain optimization project and had shipped more than 20 million chips for Airbus so far (data in June 2019).

Reasons why Boeing Airbus chose Quanray:

1. RFID tags can detect and identify inferior parts to ensure flight safety

2. Reliable tracking of single machine over 3,000 parts to reduce labor cost

3. The use of RFID tags can simplify the service and shorten the waiting period

4. Ensure more accurate exchange of airline information
